A s part of its continued efforts to upgrade the co-curricular aspects of the students, the college has initiated a number of co-curricular projects with the objective of accomplishing its mission goals. The college units of the National Service Scheme (NSS) and the National Cadet Corps (NCC) form part of these efforts seeking to upgrade the extra-curricular involvement of its students in matters pertaining to social needs and concerns. The college ensures all necessary support towards ensuring participation of its students in community service activities under the banner of its National Service Scheme (NSS) unit. The National Cadet Corps (NCC) wing of the college remains actively engaged in inculcating a spirit of universal friendship and co-operation among the youths. Besides, the college has adopted a village known as, Nongpyrdet, at Umroi, in the Ri-Bhoi District of Meghalaya and the NSS unit of the college looks after and coordinates the various developmental needs of the residents of that village. The faculty and students of the college organise regular camps and undertake other activities in the village with a view to contribute towards the enhancement of the quality of life of the people living there. The college also undertakes regular personality development sessions for the students as well as orientation and motivational programmes for the benefit of its faculty and staff.
